Beach House shocked with their surprise drop in 2015’s Thank Your Lucky Stars, which was only the start of their fuzzy climb to alternative-indie peaks. Sharing the heart pumping ‘Lemon Glow’ on Valentine’s day, the track is a raw, unfiltered song about new love; a song for intense moments; a song that fits perfectly into their repertoire.
It was third record Teen Dream that took the band from indie heartthrobs to household concern, while 2012’s Bloom only cemented their authority as the ultimate dreams in pop with its expansive production, sigh-inducing melodies, and intimate delivery. Their 2018 single, Dark Spring, is the band are stronger than ever. Staying true to the fuzzy and emotion-driven tracks they’ve married, their enhancement of addictive synths and striking vocals and scuzzy bass lines make for beautiful listening. Don’t miss this.
