Hip hop royalty and Wu Tang Clan founders Ghostface Killah and Raekwon are to co-headline an exclusive show at Troxy, London, on Friday May 11th.
Ghostface Killah is a founding member of Staten Island group Wu-Tang Clan, one of the most influential bands in the history of hip hop. Their landmark albums have sold more than 40 million records around the word and have lead the members to go on to huge solo success. Ghostface himself has worked with Danny Brown many times, as well as releasing acclaimed concept album 12 Reasons to Die, with Adrian Younge, in 2013. The follow up, Twelve Reasons to Die II with guest spots from fellow Wu-Tangers RZA and Raekwon, was another huge release. The legendary MC also has plenty of new music pencilled in for 2018 so fans of his catchy wordplay and elite storytelling are in for a treat.
Ever since the early 1990s, Raekwon has been a name synonymous with rap music around the world as part of what is undeniably one of the most accomplished and celebrated hop hip groups of all time in the Wu Tang Clan. His ability to lay down killer raps and rhymes was at the centre of all the band did. More recently Raekwon collaborated with Lil Wayne and G Sparkz on “My Corner,” a huge hit that proves he still has the skills to pay the bills.
Support will come from some of London’s most on fleek rap and alt artists and very special live guest supports TBA.
This is a rare chance to catch hip hop royalty live, up close and personal, so don’t miss out.
