This duo turned genre-bound bosses on their heads, and their latest compilation may as well have put them through a human-sized washing machine. Their dark-cabaret slash gothic-rock slash self-described Brechtian punk cabaret is something else entirely. The latest effort, No Virginia, is packed with songs that didn’t make it into their previous full bodies. Not because of quality though, simply because they just didn’t fit with each’s flow. This means it’s packed with even more obscurity, punk flair, macabre lyricism and raunchy delivery than ever.
