We’re keen for everyone to enjoy our shows, so here’s some info about accessibility at Troxy.
Step-free access:
Our building has step-free access via the front entrance, and throughout the upper section of the ground floor. Unfortunately, as we’re a grade II listed building, there’s no lift to the Circle seating upstairs, and this can only be accessed via 43 steps to our upper level. These are railed and have resting places along the way.
Lowered Counters:
Our box office and main bar in the auditorium both have dropped counters in place. At our bars without a dropped counter, our bar staff are briefed to come from behind the bar to take your order.
Assistance Dogs:
Guide dogs & Assistance dogs are all allowed to enter the building. If you would like your dog to be looked after whilst you are watching an event, this can be pre-arranged by getting in touch in advance at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk. We will arrange for someone to meet you at box office, guide you to your seat, and stay with your dog throughout the event.
Medical Requirements:
We welcome fans who need to bring medicines, medical equipment, food or drink to manage a medical condition. If you have any concerns about being allowed entry with any items you require, please don’t hesitate to get in touch at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk. For music performances and large-scale events, we have trained medics on site, and all of our Duty and Management Staff are First Aid trained.
Facilities for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Patrons:
We have a hearing loop system in place in our box office. We can also arrange hearing loop accommodations in the auditorium, British Sign Language interpretation or audio description for our events at the promoters’ discretion if requested in advance – just get in touch at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk.
Accessible Toilets:
Our accessible toilet is located in the left-hand side of the foyer through the main entrance, and is accessible via Radar key. Don’t worry if you don’t have one with you – we have a spare you can borrow. Please ask our security team if you need it.
Priority Entry:
We’re happy to offer priority entry to all our events for all our accessible customers, so you can get to your places in good time before the main crowds. Please get in touch at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk with your booking confirmation attached to make advance arrangements. You can also ask our security team outside the main entrance before your event’s scheduled door time, and they’ll be happy to assist.
Hot Pink Wristband Scheme:
Hot Pink Wristbands are a discreet and simple way to indicate non-visible disabilities/conditions and inform us that you may need additional support during your visit to the venue. You can ask a member of our box office or security teams for your Hot Pink Wristband when entering the venue. This is our version of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme and it’s completely optional. We are happy for you to wear your Sunflowers too!
Accessible Transport:
Our closest TfL public transport links are Shadwell Overground station (15 mins walk) and Limehouse DLR (5 mins walk). We also have several bus stops in our immediate vicinity, served by routes 15 / 115 / 135. Please consult TfL’s accessibility pages for more info on accessible and step-free transport:
– Transport accessibility – Transport for London (tfl.gov.uk)
– Assisted transport services – Transport for London (tfl.gov.uk)
Accessible Parking:
We’d advise not driving to Troxy if you can help it, as we don’t have any parking spaces connected to the venue, but do we have a drop off/pickup area next to us at the top of Caroline Street. For more information about parking nearby, visit the following links:
– Tower Hamlets: Parking with a Blue Badge – information on Blue Badge parking in Tower Hamlets

Accessible Bookings Guide:
We can offer free companion tickets within all of our ticketed areas upon receipt of proof of eligibility and your booking confirmation at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk. We’ve got a few different types of tickets available, so please make sure you read our bookings guide below for more info about what we’ve got on offer before making your booking.
We can only offer free companion tickets for bookings made online via DICE, so make sure you book via their website or app! Our full event listings on DICE can be found at https://dice.fm/venue/troxy-ww3x?lng=en.
Stalls Accessible / Step-Free Seating:
Our step-free accessible viewing area is located at the front of our upper ground floor. We sell tickets for this area as Stalls Accessible tickets on DICE; we’d recommend these to anyone who needs seating or a wheelchair space with step-free access, or who would prefer to be on the ground floor but is unable to stand. 1 Stalls Accessible ticket comes with 1 seat OR wheelchair space, as well as 1 alongside it for your companion, so make sure you only book 1 ticket per person in attendance with a companion. After you’ve made your booking, please get in touch with us at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk – once we receive your booking confirmation and proof of eligibility, we’ll send you a link to redeem your free companion ticket to your DICE account.
For our split standing/seated shows, this is the only step-free seated ticket type we have available, so please keep that in mind when making your booking.
Stalls Standing/General Admission:
For shows with standing allocation, Stalls Standing tickets provide free flow access to our ground floor. If you’re planning on standing and want to bring along a companion, please only book a ticket for yourself via DICE, then get in touch with us at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk – once we receive your proof of eligibility and booking confirmation, we’ll then send you a link to redeem your free companion ticket to your account.
Circle Blocks/Booths/Row A:
Most of our seating is located upstairs in the Circle. Our upstairs seating is suitable for those who prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the main crowd, or would prefer to be seated for the duration of the event, but are still able to use stairs. Circle Row A, Circle Booths, and Circle Blocks tickets are all located in this area.
If booking in any of our Circle seating, please book tickets for your entire group to ensure that you’re seated together. Otherwise, someone else might book the seat next to yours before we can reserve it for your companion. Get in touch with us at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk after you’ve made your booking – once we receive your proof of eligibility and booking confirmation, we’ll be happy to refund your companion’s booked seat.
Please note that the Circle is only accessible via 43 steps to our upper level – these are railed, and have resting places along the way. Once you arrive in the Circle, you’ll come out in front of Row E in the Circle Blocks – it’s then just a few more steps up to the other rows of the Blocks, or down to the Booths and Row A.
Fully Seated Shows:
For our talks, comedy nights, live podcasts and some gigs, we have seats available in both the Stalls on the ground floor and the Circle upstairs. Please check your event’s seat map within our online listings at https://troxy.co.uk/whats-on/ for more info about your specific booking.
Stalls Accessible seats are also available for these events as laid out above, but for most fully seated events, any seats sold as Stalls, Stalls Middle, or Stalls Rear will also be step-free accessible.
Please note that Front Stalls tickets are not step-free accessible, as the lower ground floor area at the front of the auditorium is only accessible via 3 steps down from the upper ground floor.
If booking seats in the Stalls, please book tickets for your entire group to ensure that you’re seated together. Otherwise, someone else might book the seat next to yours before we can reserve it for your companion! Get in touch with us at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk after you’ve made your booking – once we receive your proof of eligibility and booking confirmation, we’ll be happy to refund your companion’s booked seat.
If you book Stalls seats on an aisle or in the front or back rows, we’ll be happy to remove your booked seat(s) to make space for a wheelchair or mobility scooter upon request – just get in touch at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk.
Proof of Eligibility:
We can only provide free companion tickets once we receive your booking confirmation and proof of eligibility at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk. Please read the above booking guides for each ticket type carefully before making your booking to ensure you book the right amount and type of tickets for your needs.
The following forms of evidence are automatically eligible:
- Front page of DLA / PIP / Attendance Allowance letter
- Certificate of Visual Impairment
- Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
- Nimbus Access Card (www.accesscard.org.uk)
- Blue Badge
If you’re unable to provide any of the above, we’re happy to review your access requirements on a case-by-case basis. Please send your proof of eligibility to us within 7 days of booking. We are unable to offer refunds after an event has taken place.
