More in Venue Hire
Troxy is the place to see big bands in East London, but we’re about more than just music. We’ve had Royalty through the doors, hosted Secret Cinema nights, a Google Christmas party and we are also home to the country’s biggest white collar boxing promoter. We’ve put together a few examples of what our venue can be used for (which is pretty much anything)…
Richard Dawkins and Ricky Gervais in Conversation
When a sold-out audience gathered to hear two of the most influential speakers of the 21st Century in discussion, Troxy’s new audio technology and the venue’s flexibility came into its own.
Channel 4 News
Having been present in London’s East End since the 1930s, surviving many threats over the years – not least the devastation of The Blitz during WWII – Troxy was the perfect venue for a debate about one of the biggest milestones in British history.
Food Made Good Awards
The Sustainable Restaurant Association chose Troxy for their annual Food Made Good Awards which saw 500 guests head to Limehouse to celebrate innovation in catering and dedication to sustainability amongst UK restaurants and producers.
Ultra White Collar Boxing
The Ultra White Collar Boxing team made Troxy their home for a series of events, taking advantage of the venue’s layout flexibility and huge floor space.
BBC Music Day
We’re not shy about our love for live music at Troxy...so you can imagine how happy we were when the musical legends at BBC Radio 2 brought a massive cast to Troxy for their ‘Friday night is Music Night’ two hour live broadcast to mark BBC Music Day in September 2018.
Comic Relief Ball
A businessman, comedian and pop star walk into a bar…it’s the Comic Relief Gala Ball! Sets from talent such as Gary Barlow, Fleur East and funny man Jason Manford lit up Troxy for a fun filled evening with a truckload of high-profile guests.
We put on our business hat for the ISBA conference in March 2019. During this annual event ISBA invites the advertising industry to come together and celebrate the excellent things that are happening in the industry while also challenging and confronting the issues at the foreground (serious stuff).
Some Voices Seasonal Speakeasy
In December 2018 Some Voices (branded London’s finest choir by Time Out) hosted three consecutive Seasonal Speakeasy nights of choral performances right here at Troxy.
Women’s Sports Trust #BeAGameChanger awards
For the 2017 #BeAGameChanger awards, we utilised Troxy’s in-house production facilities to create a stunning environment in which to celebrate the very best in female sport.
Richard Branson Book Launch
Fifty years after starting his first business, the world-famous entrepreneur, inventor and philanthropist Richard Branson came to Troxy for the launch of his second book ‘Finding My Virginity’.
London Grammar brought their 2014 If You Wait tour to a close at Troxy, one of the biggest concerts on a tour that saw their debut album turn platinum.
The sold-out gig at our place was the only London date on the 14-date UK tour. What made the night extra special was that our venue was chosen to film a video for the band’s upcoming single, making the most of Troxy’s art deco surroundings.
Ted Baker AW14 Fashion Show
Showing the versatility of our venue, Troxy was transformed into the perfect backdrop for Ted Baker’s fashion show.
Google Christmas Party
With a German Christmas market, real Christmas tree and fake snow, even some of our own staff wouldn’t have recognised Troxy once it was decked out for the Google Christmas party.
Kerrang! Awards 2016
We’ve been working with Kerrang! for a few years now but this time the brief was very different – and ambitious!
Business in the Community
We like a right royal knees-up in the East End, and this had the official Buckingham Palace seal of approval as HRH the Prince of Wales was among the 500 guests who gathered for the Business in the Community Leadership Network event.
