It was brilliant to host so many speakers and guests at ‘Resistance is Existence: The Fight for Our Future’ at Troxy this March. While the sense of urgency is strong, real solutions feel impossible. Big discussions on war, security, genocide, and the interests of the super-rich took place. DiEM25 brought its network of resistance to our East End home.
Held on Tuesday 24th March, Resistance is Existence transformed our Grand Hall into a thought-provoking and hopeful experience for attendees.
We were lucky enough to have speakers like Yanis Varoufakis, Grace Blakeley, Brian Eno, Jeremy Corbyn, Zack Polanski, Laura Pidcock, Srećko Horvat, and Erik Edman. Plus a poetry reading by Inua Ellams and stand-up comedy segments from Francesca Martinez – Thanks to everyone who made this important event so incredible.
Troxy’s in-house team worked with the DiEM25 to make sure every detail of the event landed perfectly. Our advanced lighting, projection and JBL sound system brought the conversations, poetry, and stand-up to life, with crystal-clear surround sound enhancing every note and image.
