Everyone’s welcome at Troxy – our team will always do their best to accommodate you and make sure your visit is relaxed, welcoming and accessible.
You can contact our accessibility team directly at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk – please note that this inbox is typically monitored from 10am-6pm, Monday to Friday. If you’re getting in touch about weekend events, please make sure you contact us by 6pm on the Friday before – we understand that this may not always be possible, so please attend the box office upon arrival for any requests we’ve been unable to respond to prior to the event.
Accessible Bookings Guide:
To see the availability of Accessible Tickets that can be purchased online check the appropriate ‘Type’ from the list. ‘Wheelchair Accessible’ are for wheelchair users only. ‘Ambulant Disabled’ and ‘Sight Impaired’ positions are located within general seated areas but have been allocated due to their ease of access or proximity to the stage/performance area where applicable. The accessible ticket policy limits one free carer ticket to each accessible ticket purchased. Patrons who have any questions about booking tickets, or require further assistance please email our dedicated disabled access team at access@ticketmaster.co.uk.
Please note:
- Accessible tickets can sell out very quickly and we recommend purchasing your tickets as soon as an event has gone on sale.
- Companion / carer tickets are subject to availability and are allocated at the time of purchase and must be added with the accompanied paid Accessible ticket.
- Unfortunately, the venue is unable to issue Companion / Carer tickets to ticket holders purchasing from third party outlets.
Fully Seated Shows:
For our talks, comedy nights, live podcasts and some gigs, we have seats available in both the Stalls on the ground floor and the Circle upstairs. Please check your event’s seat map within our online listings at https://troxy.co.uk/whats-on/ for more info about your specific booking.
Accessible Area seats are also available for these events as laid out above, but for most fully seated events, any seats sold as Stalls, Stalls Middle, or Stalls Rear will also be step-free accessible. Please note if you haven’t purchased an Accessible Area ticket we cannot guarantee a companion ticket refund on one of your tickets. In addition, we cannot add a companion ticket to an order that is made outside of the Accessible Area as the seat next to yours might already be taken.
Please note that Front Stalls tickets are not step-free accessible, as the lower ground floor area at the front of the auditorium is only accessible via 3 steps down from the upper ground floor.
If you book Stalls seats on an aisle or in the front or back rows, we’ll be happy to remove your booked seat(s) to make space for a wheelchair or mobility scooter upon request – just get in touch at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk.
Proof of Eligibility:
Fans who are eligible for a UK Access Card (with the +1 symbol) or other government-issued companion scheme may receive one free companion ticket when purchasing a full-price ticket. Your companion card/number must be provided at the time of booking. Some venues may require companion tickets to be booked directly through their box office. For more information, visit Access Card UK.
If you’re unable to provide any of the above, we’re happy to review your access requirements on a case-by-case basis. Please send your proof of eligibility to us within 7 days of booking. We are unable to offer refunds after an event has taken place.
VR Venue Tour:
See our layout first-hand – an online walking tour of our venue is available here, starting in the main foyer just after the entrance and spanning both floors.
Step-free access:
Our building has step-free access via the front entrance, and throughout the upper section of the ground floor. Unfortunately, as we’re a grade II listed building, there’s no lift to the Circle seating upstairs, and this can only be accessed via 43 steps to our upper level. These are railed and have resting places along the way.
Lowered Counters:
Our box office and main bar in the auditorium both have dropped counters in place. At our bars without a dropped counter, our bar staff are briefed to come from behind the bar to take your order.
Medical Requirements:
We welcome fans who need to bring medicines, medical equipment, food or drink to manage a medical condition – just get in touch with us at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk ahead of your event, and we’ll be happy to help. For music performances and large-scale events, we have trained medics on site, and all of our Duty and Management Staff are First Aid trained.
Facilities for Deaf & Hard of Hearing Patrons:
We have a hearing loop system in place at our box office window. We can arrange British Sign Language interpretation or audio description for our events at the promoters’ discretion if requested in advance – just get in touch with us at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk.
Accessible Toilets:
Our accessible toilet is located in the left-hand side of the foyer through the main entrance, and is accessible via Radar key. Don’t worry if you don’t have one with you – we have a spare you can borrow. Please ask our security team if you need it.
Priority Entry:
If you struggle with queueing, please get in touch with us at accesstickets@troxy.co.uk ahead of the event with your booking confirmation attached, and we’ll be happy to assist.
Hot Pink Wristband Scheme:
Hot Pink Wristbands are a discreet and simple way to indicate non-visible disabilities/conditions and inform us that you may need additional support during your visit to the venue. You can ask a member of our box office or security teams for your Hot Pink Wristband when entering the venue. This is our version of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme and it’s completely optional. We’re very happy for you to wear your Sunflowers too!

Our closest TfL public transport links are Shadwell Overground station (15 mins walk/1100m) and Limehouse DLR (5 mins walk/400m).
