The Rise Awards are a celebration of the outstanding talent, skills, expertise, and achievements of exceptional women across the broadcast technology and services sectors.
In 2023, Bubble Agency chose to host the Rise Awards at Troxy for the first time.
360 guests arrived for a welcome drink’s reception, followed by a delicious three-course dinner and coffee served by Troxy’s accredited caterers Boulevard Events.
The awards ceremony was brought to life and streamed by partners Sky and EMG and was hosted by Sky Sports TV personality Emma Paton. The ceremony which was sponsored by broadcast industry companies including Zixi, Moov, Ross Video, Reidel, Clear-Com and others was made up of 14 different categories including, ‘Woman of the Year’, ‘Business Leader’, ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Influencer of the Year’ award to name a few.
The event took advantage of Troxy’s in-house technical and AV equipment, and to make it into the desired production Sky and EMG bought in additional equipment including two outside broadcast trucks and a jib.
Once the award ceremony came to a close, guests were able to enjoy drinks and entertainment from Rise mentors and DJs- Rich Welsh and Dee Davison.

“Having previously hosted the Rise Awards in a TV studio we wanted to replicate this as much as possible and hence why we chose Troxy – the high ceilings/ backstage space and overall décor made it easy for us to decide to host the ceremony there. With our audience all working in the broadcast sector, we always want to give them a feel of this and Troxy was able to provide this and it not be a standard awards ceremony venue.
Overall, Troxy is a fantastic venue, it suited the Rise Awards perfectly and we are looking to make it our home for the next few years”.
