EAST IS BEST ON YOUR WALLS

The festive period is fast approaching and for those of you that are fans of our beautiful building, we have created some limited edition prints for your walls which would make the perfect Christmas gift!

The coloured prints were originally created for our Christmas card but have made it onto lots of things since and we wanted to see them in all their colourful glory on our (and now your) walls.

Each print is screen-printed by hand onto archive quality handmade papers by an artisan print studio in Wales. Each one is available in a very limited edition of 100, hand numbered and signed.

EAST IS BEST

‘East is Best’ is a strapline from one of the earliest promotional adverts for the theatre. The prints emblazoned with the line are a tribute to Troxy’s East London heritage and feature our stunning original art deco frontage, which we restored a few years ago and can now be lit in any colour of the rainbow! The prints are a homage to the colourful history of the building and our art deco architecture.

Available in 4 vibrant colourways that you might recognise from our interior decor!

KONG

A homage to the mural seen by commuters as they approach Limehouse station on the DLR, Kong was painted by street artist Matty 7 years ago on the back of the Troxy building. King Kong was the first film ever shown at Troxy on 11th September 1933 and so he is Troxy’s adopted mascot. We like to think he’s a strong defiant part of the East London skyline…just like us.

All the prints are available now via our new merch page – click below to get your hands on one!
