The Sustainable Restaurant Association chose Troxy for their annual Food Made Good Awards which saw 500 guests head to Limehouse to celebrate innovation in catering and the increased dedication to carbon and waste reduction amongst UK restaurants and producers.

All the food and drink providers on the evening were carefully curated to showcase some of the best practice in London’s catering and street food sectors.

Guests were welcomed into the venue with a VIP drinks reception and selection of vegan and vegetarian canapes provided by Fooditude and Pocos Tapas Bar.  Street food favourites KERB provided four traders who served entirely vegetarian dishes from stations placed around Troxy’s stunning interior.

Troxy staff and management worked hard to minimise the environmental impact of the evening by introducing a multi-steam recycling policy and choosing carefully-selected sustainable ingredients for each dish.

Hosted by cook and bestselling author Melissa Hemsley, celebrity chef Raymond Blanc and celebrated food broadcaster Prue Leith, the awards also featured entertainment from Eyecon Art, the Trinity Jazz Trio and DJ Nikolas Babic.
