We put on our business hat for the ISBA conference in March 2019. During this annual event ISBA invites the advertising industry to come together and celebrate the excellent things that are happening in the industry while also challenging and confronting the issues at the foreground (serious stuff).

The conference took place over the course of a day with a jam packed agenda featuring a huge range of speakers covering topics ranging from influencer fraud to marketers using advertising as a force for good. These included Counter Terrorism Commander Clarke Jarrett, CEO of Guardian Media Group David Pemsell and even Liam Bairstow from Corrie! With such a massive lineup of names along with delegates and press our organisation had to be razor sharp – luckily the ISBA team knew they could trust us as they hosted the conference here last year.

Our favourite street food collective KERB brought the best of London street food delegates with traders Coffee Space, Kalimera, Anna Mae’s, Jamon Jamon and Hanoi Kitchen providing delicious lunch and refreshments.

The Director of Communications at ISBA, Abi Slater said; “it was great to return to Troxy for another successful ISBA conference. The events team was brilliant and made working on such a big event a breeze. Though there is sometimes an impression that the venue is difficult to get to, lots of the delegates have commented that it’s so easy – two stops from Bank and the DLR is actually quite a nice way to travel.

“If you want somewhere that’s different, edgy and a bit cooler for your conference, Troxy is a great venue. There is lots of space to be really creative, we were especially pleased with the effect of the draped fabric, lighting and ISBA branding behind the stage.”
