A spectacular evening of live music and entertainment, the Masquerave saw men’s charity One For the Boys and Fiat come together under our art deco roof to raise awareness of male cancer.
The charity’s chairman, Samuel L Jackson, was the host for the evening as a 2,000-strong crowd were kept dancing by sets from some of the UK’s best DJs including Faithless, Jamie xx, Tom Findalay from Groove Armada and Benji B who all took their turn on the decks while surprise acts Craig David and Sigma also performed together as ‘Dance Music United Against Cancer’.
We were heavily involved in the build-up to the event, offering plenty of advice on how to make the most of the building and also recommending suppliers and helping with ticket sales.
A step and repeat wall on one side of the foyer allowed VIPs to pose with cheeky speech bubbles such as ‘how’s it hanging?’. The public arrived on the other side of the foyer, close enough to see their heroes.
To make sure One For The Boys could raise as much money possible, our in-house AV and technicians helped the event production team and Fiat’s agency, Drive Productions, to utilise our inhouse lighting, rigging and sound equipment for the event , keeping the costs down.
