Fifty years after starting his first business, the world-famous entrepreneur, inventor and philanthropist Richard Branson came to Troxy for the launch of his second book ‘Finding My Virginity’.

Hosted by Penguin Random House, the event featured BBC presenter Lauren Laverne in conversation with Mr Branson, getting an insight into the man behind some of the biggest business successes in recent history.

The evening was enjoyed by a sell-out audience who packed both levels of the main Troxy auditorium, getting a fascinating glimpse into the life of the British business magnate.

All attendees received a copy of the book as part of their ticket price and were welcomed into the venue with a delicious selection of food stalls located through the main doors.  The food vendors that took part were small businesses endorsed and supported by Virgin and Mr Branson himself.

The evening was interspersed with musical performances from artists curated by Sofar Sounds, a global performance company which Mr Branson invests in.  These segments were showcased beautifully on Troxy’s secret performance area, which sits above the main stage.

Penguin Random House donated £5 from every ticket sold to help communities in parts of the Caribbean that were affected by the widespread destruction of Hurricane Irma.
